There's something for everyone here: in addition to family-friendly routes that young and old can ride together, 20 km of flowing trails and challenging downhill runs await you in the Trailpark Winterberg - for that extra kick!
Bike fun in the Bike Arena Sauerland
Discover the Sauerland, its beautiful nature and its ingenious bike routes in the Bike Arena Sauerland. Here you will get your money's worth and really power up on 1140 kilometres of track. Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it here: Ingenious trails and rapid descents make the biker's heart beat faster. Find the routes that suit you. The perfect starting point: Winterberg, because about one third of the route network of the Bike Arena Sauerland is centered around our city.
Stop by at Möppi: When you come back from your bike tour in the evening, exhausted and with a rumbling stomach, you know where delicious food and refreshing drinks are waiting for you - from 4 pm at Möppi!
Rent top bikes
You don't have a bike with you, but it itches your fingers (and feet) to jump into the trail pleasure? You always wanted to try an e-bike? No worries Directly opposite Möppi you will find the bike rental Poppenberg, which provides you with everything you need for a great day on the bike. Here you will find bikes and e-bikes from top brands such as Conway and Corratec, matching helmets and for the little ones there are even children's e-bikes for hire. Groups can also be equipped on advance booking - please contact the team of the bike rental Poppenberg.
Important: The bikes are not allowed in the Bikepark Winterberg!
Bike courses for beginners
Beginners on the bike? Then the Poppenberg bike school, directly opposite Möppi, is the right place for you. The team of the bike school will get you fit and teach you the most important technical basics and tricks so that you can soon set off on your first bike tour through the Sauerland. Above all, the right riding technique is crucial, after all you should feel safe on the bike. In the bike school you will learn how to shift gears, brake and ride curves correctly, so that nothing stands in the way of biking pleasure.
